Online Curriculum Sale - Part I

Wow, hard to believe it's been nearly a year since I've posted on this website!  I've spent the year teaching 3rd grade faith formation classes, marketing a Catholic school and parish, developing the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program at my parish, and -- of course--chauffeuring my kids to sports and dance!

I noticed that Jessica (at Shower of Roses) is again having her Curriculum Sale Blog Hop.  I still have some great homeschooling materials that I would like to pass on to others, so thought I would participate.

Thank you, Jessica, for hosting this blog hop again!  Check out what others are selling (at great prices) by going to the blog hop home, which is here.

***********************************************

I'm following Jessica's suggested guidelines for the swap, which include:

1) Please just request items that you are seriously interested in purchasing, and for which you can submit payment within 24 hours via Paypal.

2) If you are interested in something, please email me  (caswrite at aol dot com) to ensure the item is still available.  I will try to update this page as soon as items are "sale pending" or sold.

3) Shipping:  I'm keeping it as simple as possible!

Fees:
- For books and media items, $6 for 1-3 items and $8 for 4 or more items.  (Covers packaging and postage).
- For other items (games, etc.):  Please email me with your zip code and I'll compute the least expensive method for shipping the item.

Here's what I've got so far.  Please keep checking back as I clear off shelves!

Pearables' Lessons in Responsibility for Girls. A part of the Home Economics for Home Schoolers Series. This is Level 1, for ages 6 and up.  Retails for $9.99, asking $5. Never used.

Edupress' Hands-on Heritage Series:  Native Americans Activity Book. For grades 2+.  Retails for $7.99, asking $4. Never used, although there is a bend in the cover at the bottom right hand side. (Does not affect usability or readability.)  Hands-on arts, crafts, cooking, research and activities that help kids learn about tribal territories, different type of homes/shelter, culture, daily life and more.

Lingua Mater Primary Language Lessons by Emma Serl/Hillside Education. Retails for about $18, asking $9.99   Never used. (We copied exercises on other pieces of paper for more writing practice.) Sorry about the photo--tried several times to flip it and it would not turn!

Connecting with History:  World History Through Catholic Principles,  Volume 1 and Founders of Freedom by Neumann Press.  Founders of Freedom is used as the main textbook with this volume. The Connecting with History book retails for $40 and the Founders of Freedom for about $22; I'm asking $30 for both items.Connecting with History is 2010 edition.

Everyday Graces by Karen Santorum (hardcover); A Child's Garden of Verses by Robert Louis Stevenson (paperback by Wordsworth Classics).  Everyday Graces retails for about $17; A Child's Verse retails for about $4.  Asking $10 for the two.

The above items will be shipped media mail.

I also have this popular game:

Guess Who? Game (newer version).  PENDING SALE
Retails for $18, asking $9.  We never used it, although I began to assemble the parts to put the plastic frames together.  I also printed out some cards from Equipping Catholic Families so we could convert the game into "Guess Who: the Catholic Cardinals Edition."  We never got around to using it.    I'll include the cards I printed out.
For this item, please email me your zip code!  I'll compute postage and get back to you!  My email is caswrite at aol dot com.

I have more items coming soon, including math games, books, manipulatives and more.  Some of these would be perfect items to help your children keep up their academic skills over the summer (in a fun way!)
